COB Neon LED Strip 1.2m Neutral White – 12V DC, 8mm Self-Adhesive, Continuous Dot-Free Light, 1050lm/m

A 1.2m neutral white COB LED strip that gives a smooth, continuous line of light with no visible dots.

Made with COB (chip-on-board) technology, the LEDs are applied to the strip at a density of 528 per metre, creating an even line of light without bright spots. The diodes offer very high brightness, a wide viewing angle and a long, trouble-free service life. The strip has an 8mm wide base and is backed with self-adhesive 3M LSE mounting tape.

Installation

Make sure the mounting position allows proper heat dissipation, as this has a big impact on the life of the strip. The mounting surface should be clean, free from dust and dirt, and degreased.

The strip is designed for a 12V DC supply, and markings on the strip show how to connect the power correctly. Use a stabilised DC power supply with a 20% power reserve above the nominal power of the strip (installation). It is not recommended to connect LED strips in sections longer than 1.2m. Installations longer than 5m should be powered from both ends, or fed in multiples of 1.2m, to ensure rated life and eliminate voltage drops.

Cut the strip only at the marked cutting points, and only with the power off – cutting anywhere else will damage the strip. The electrical installation must be fitted with short-circuit, overload and overvoltage protection.

Never connect the strip directly to the 230V mains – this can cause a risk of electric shock and will immediately damage the product.
