A finger-jointed oak base rail with a 41mm groove for 41mm spindles, supplied with a matching infill.
The groove allows a 41mm spindle to be fitted directly into the base rail, and the infill (spacer) comes pre-packed with it. Like all our oak stair parts, it is supplied unfinished and can be varnished or waxed to suit your interior – a wooden staircase adapts to any style and makes a fantastic feature in any home.

About Finger-Joint Oak
Finger jointing is a woodworking technique that joins short pieces of timber into longer lengths. Interlocking wooden "fingers" are bonded together with adhesive, producing higher-quality, more efficient components and reducing material waste. Finger-jointed timber is straight and dimensionally stable, although visible colour differences may appear in the oak.
