Cool White COB LED Neon Strip – 1m, 12V DC, 14W, Continuous Dot-Free Light, Self-Adhesive, Cuttable

A 1m cool white COB LED neon strip for 12V DC, giving a continuous line of light with no visible dots – ideal for stair and feature lighting.

Made with COB technology, the LEDs are set on the strip base at a density of 528 per metre, producing a smooth, continuous line of light without shining points. The diodes have very high brightness and a wide viewing angle, and their long service life ensures long, trouble-free operation.

The strip has a self-adhesive 3M LSE mounting tape on the back and can be cut into shorter sections. Each segment has 24 diodes, with a minimum length of 45.45mm.

Installation

• Choose a mounting location that allows proper heat dissipation – this has a big impact on the life of the strip.
• Prepare the mounting surface so it is free from dust and dirt, and degreased.
• The strip is designed for a 12V DC supply; markings on the base show how to connect the power correctly.
• Use a stabilised DC power supply with a 20% power reserve over the nominal power of the strip (installation).
• Avoid powering sections longer than 1m from one end. Installations longer than 1m should be powered from both ends, or in multiples of 5m, to ensure rated life and eliminate voltage drops.
• Cut the strip only at the marked cutting points, and only with the power off. Cutting elsewhere will damage the strip.
• The electrical installation must have short-circuit, overload and overvoltage protection.

Please Note

Never connect the strip directly to the 230V mains. This may cause a risk of electric shock and will immediately damage the product. IP20 strips are for indoor use in dry, dust-free conditions only.
